Weekly Review:

This week, domestic sunflower prices fell. After the holiday, the sales speed was slow, and the oil mills continued to be bearish and dared not to stock up too much, which was bad for the sunflower market. The market was sluggish, but the price of sunflower cakes rose, and the price of sunflowers was slightly boosted. In terms of supply, due to the reduction in production in the main sunflower producing areas (Ukraine and Russia), the supply of sunflowers was weak, but my country's main importing country was Kazakhstan, and the country's sunflower production increased, so it had little impact on domestic sunflower prices.

It is expected that the price of sunflowers may fall after the holiday. At present, the sales speed of sunflowers is slow, the demand is weak, and the foreign prices of Russian and Ukrainian sunflowers are weak, which is bad for the sunflower market. Pay more attention to the foreign prices and the trend of my country's import volume in the later period.

02 Sunflower oil

Week 6 (February 5-February 7, 2025) The average price of domestic sunflower oil this week is 10,392 yuan/ton, of which the price of first-grade sunflower oil in Jiangsu is 10,500 yuan/ton; the price of first-grade sunflower oil in Xinjiang is 9,300 yuan/ton, and the price of first-grade sunflower oil in Tianjin is 10,700 yuan/ton. Weekly Review:

This week, domestic sunflower oil prices rose steadily. The sales speed of sunflower oil after the holiday was not fast, but the domestic soybean oil and rapeseed oil prices rose, supporting the sunflower oil market. The actual transaction price of sunflower oil did not rise. On the supply side, the supply of sunflower oil was tight, supporting the sunflower oil market. On the demand side, dealers replenished stocks in small quantities, demand was weak, and replenishment was on demand, which was bearish for the sunflower oil market.

It is expected that the price of sunflower oil may remain stable and fluctuate. The fundamentals of sunflower oil are weak in supply and demand, which is difficult to change. The price of sunflower oil is relatively stable after the holiday, and the foreign price is also tending to be stable.
