Product details

The disc harrow is a harrow group with concave discs mounted on the shaft at a fixed distance. The concave surface of the disc is generally spherical, and some countries also use conical surfaces. There are two types of discs: full-edge blades and notched blades. The former is simple to manufacture and easy to sharpen; the latter has a strong ability to penetrate the soil, which is conducive to cutting soil blocks and stubble weeds and is mostly used on heavy harrows for heavy soil cultivation. The harrow blade sizes of various countries have been standardized and have international standards. The material of the harrow blade is generally wear-resistant 65Mn steel, and low-carbon martensitic B5 steel can also be used. Since the 1940s, the United States has used cross-rolled steel plates to manufacture harrow blades. The center hole of the disc harrow blade is generally a square hole, separated by a spacer tube. The harrow blade and the spacer tube are put on the square shaft together and locked with a nut to form a harrow group. When working, the plane of the disc blade is perpendicular to the ground and forms an angle with the forward direction. Each harrow group is supported by bearings on the frame. During operation, under the traction of the tractor and the reaction force of the soil, the rake blades of the harrow group roll along with the square shaft. Under the action of the harrow's own gravity, the blades cut into the soil, cut off the grass roots or crop residues, chop up the tilled soil strips, and make the soil rise slightly along the concave surface of the harrow blade, and then fall down, which has a certain effect of turning over and covering the soil. The deflection angle of the harrow group can be adjusted, and the adjustment range is generally 0°~30°, and the commonly used deflection angle is 10°~25°. Increasing the deflection angle can increase the depth of the harrow blade into the soil and the effect of turning over and breaking the soil, and the resistance will also increase accordingly.
